RCBM Enterprises CC t/a Chapman Enterprises is a privately owned family business based in Ballito. We
have been in the building business for the last 16 years and have developed a reputation for producing top quality workmanship on time and within budget. We are registered with the National Home Builders
Registration Council the statutory body set up to regulate the building industry. Our business is run from a
well equipped office which is located in Ballito.

We are in the process of completing the project management and construction of the very successful 140
unit Wakenshaw Estate Development in Ballito. We have taken the project through preliminary planning,
Market Research, Environmental Impact Assessment, Re-zoning, Town Planning approval, Architectural
and Civil Engineering Design, Municipal Plan Approval and Construction. We have where possible saved
the existing trees and the landscaping has been done using indigenous vegetation to encourage bird life
and to make the maintenance of the gardens easier.

Current projects are a R5m new home in Zimbali Estate, a R1m renovation, a R1.8m civil works contract
for a new sectional title development as well as several other smaller maintenance, renovation and
addition projects.

General Manager – Richard Chapman

Richard has a civil engineering background and so has the requisite technical and project management
skills to make Chapman Enterprises a successful building and project management company. The
following is a brief C.V.

• Qualification - Civil Engineering Technician Diploma Grade 3.
• Worked for Ministry of Roads (Rhodesia) for 5 years.
• Worked for Savage & Lovemore, a Civil Engineering Construction company, for 13 years rising to Site
  Agent on a number of large contracts including the N2 highway from the Mdloti River to Groutville.
• Worked for DeLeuw Cather and Bradford Conning for 3 years as Assistant Resident Engineer on two
  large N2 highway contracts near New Guelderland and Mtunzini.
• Started Chapman Enterprises in January 1995.
